Craig R. Stockman Obituary

Craig Robbins Stockman born September 15th, 1952  passed away   at the age of 72 on May 23rd , 2025 peacefully. 


Craig moved to Winslow, Maine when he was a young boy, where he was raised on a small farm. At the age of 18 he proudly enlisted in the U.S Navy and served his country during the Vietnam War. When he returned he enjoyed the outdoors- fishing, hunting and exploring Maine’s natural beauty. Craig worked in the logging industry, spending many years in the woods.


Craig was an avid rock and mineral collector. A passion that became one of his greatest joys of his life. His hard work is proudly displayed in institutions , Harvard University Mineralogical Museum and L.C. Bates museum, among others. 


Craig is survived by his three children Kasey Stockman and partner Jason Lawrence; Shannon Bickford and husband Matt Bickford; Nick Stockman and wife Anna Stockman.Sister June Marie Trustcott and her partner Dennis Taylor;brother Danny Trustcott and his partner Bonnie Locke and four beloved grandchildren; Allicia, Camiren,Aydan and Alley.  Among Nieces and cousins.


Craig will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep knowledge, and enduring love for nature and family.
