John David Roberts jr., born on October 16, 1972, better known to many he grew up with as Jody, lost his battle with Glioblastoma on May 19th 2025. He was surrounded by the love of his family and many messages from friends and extended family. He fought almost 2 years to beat glio with dignity and humor.
His love of photography, nature, genealogy, and gaming will live on in the hearts of all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents John "David" Roberts sr., Jane L Roberts (Wiefek), his wife Tiffani A Roberts (Mailloux) and their sons John "Patrick" Owen Roberts (14) and Andrew Louis Raymond Roberts (13), his 3 sisters; twin Amy Francis (husband Gerald) son Zachary (14), Kathy Roberts (husband Andy) and Lynda Roberts (husband Steven).
Most friends and family remember him with his camera always around his neck, even from an early age. Several have commented on his landscape and nature photography that included his sunset and sunrise photos. One friend best describes how the world thought of him by making a comment that truly fits him "Now instead of you chasing those sunrises and sunsets, you get to create them for all to see."
Though John is not physically beside us anymore, I hope all those who knew him can look at a sunrise or sunset and think "John would have loved this"
A celebration of life will be held in early July as to give time for out-of-state friends and family to attend if they can. Further details will be forthcoming.
