Obituary of Edna Gamage
Edna O’Clair Gamage, 91, born in Winn, Maine to George and Leota O’Clair on December 24th, 1933, passed peacefully on March 27th, 2025 at Windward Gardens in Camden, Maine.
Edna was an amazing woman who was loved by all who met her. She loved her social time and being with her family and friends.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, card playing, Bingo, traveling and family gatherings. If there was a bouncy house, motorcycle, or slip n slide she wasn’t intimidated to be the first on it. Edna had a beautiful and fun spirited soul with a great sense of humor.
She shared her opinions and knowledge with all. Edna was a member of the Rockland Emblem Club, The Rockland Elks #1008, VFW, and The American Legion.
She was pre deceased by her parents, as well as her 14 siblings, and her son-in-law James Myers, Sr. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Donna Dennison (Steve) and Rosemary Myers both of St. George, Belinda Anderson (Barry) of Tenants Harbor, and Georgianna Allen (Chris) of Lebanon, Maine. Edna also leaves behind her many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.
A memorial service will be held on April 27th, 2025 at the Rockland Elks from 1:00-4:00.
