Obituary of Gary Ernest Colson

Gary E. Colson of China, ME died February 24, 2025. He passed away peacefully at home with his family after courageously battling cancer. He is survived by his three children Noelle Kennedy, Brandon Fort and Kristina Austin, his sister Ginny Pelletier; stepson Jason Colson; And three nephews, Pat, Kevin, and Gordie Ryan of Ontario, Canada.

He was born May 19, 1955, in Belfast to John and Grace Colson. Gary grew up in Northport, he was an antique dealer, a mechanic, and had his own garbage business.

Gary served in the navy for a total of 6 years. He loved antiques and race car driving. His favorite thing to do was take rides around the countryside. He enjoyed spending time with his best friends Randy Philbrook and Tim Merry. He was a very friendly man that everyone liked, always full of smiles, positivity, love, and encouragement.
