WALDO

WINIFRED “WINNIE” E. (FLYE) BOULIER, 82 of Waldo, passed away after a long journey with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s on June 4, 2012 in Belfast. She was born June 5, 1929 in Freedom the daughter of Fred N. and Idella (Dykens) Flye. Winnie was a 1947 graduate of Freedom Academy, worked at LaVerdiere’s Drug Store in Waterville and Belfast, was bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Waldo Electric Company, until her retirement. She loved yard sales, crossword puzzles and dancing.



In addition to her parents, Winnie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth L. Boulier Sr.; her sister Ruby Flye Marcia; brother-in-law Norman Marcia; nephew Donald Marcia. She is survived by five children, Richard Boulier and wife Michelle of Waldo, Elaine Redman and husband Larry of Castine, Donna Bean and husband Greg of Brooks, Kenneth Boulier II and wife Terry of Freedom and Robert Boulier of Belfast; five grandsons, Jim and Brian Stacey, Shawn and Greg Bean, and Kory Boulier; great-grandson Jesse Stacey; one nephew; two nieces; great-nieces, nephews and cousins.



Graveside services will be held Friday, June 8th 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Freedom. The family wishes to thank Waldo County General Hospital nursing staff and Waldo County Home Health & Hospice. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Waldo County home Health & Hospice, PO Box 287, Belfast, ME 04915 or to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
